About Mikey T and the Mudrunners
I’m Mike — the nominal Mikey T — and I’ve been writing songs for a good while now. A while back, after years of roaming about the American West, I returned to California and started pursuing music more seriously. Over the course of time, I began making friends with a local open mic host named Ishmael, who would always offer to jump in on percussion for any performer who wanted it. And through Ishmael, I met Christopher, who can play practically any instrument known to man and probably some that are yet to be invented. And through Christopher, I met Mathew, bass gigolo. And thus… the Mudrunners were born! Americana, rockabilly, ska-punk, folk… I don’t know what I’d call the music, I just hope it sounds good.
